In Boka Kotorska bay there are no long sandy beaches which are characteristic of other parts of Montenegrin coastline. What makes this Riviera special are numerous pontoons and smaller sandy or pebbly beaches. One of the most popular beaches in Bokokotorska bay is the beach called Bajova kula or Bajo’s tower.
Not far from Risan, towards Herceg Novi, visitors will find a small town Morinj. Sea water is very clean there, but also much cooler than in other places in Boka bay, because this place is known for its numerous fresh water wellsprings that go down from the hills to the sea. Tramontana Beach Bar and Pilot Beach Bar are two places for tourists.
Next to Morinj there is a small place called Kostanjica. Here you can find rocky beaches reserved for those who search for a little more privacy on the beach. There is a very nice fish restaurant "Ribar", and just before arriving in the municipality of Herceg Novi, there is also a restaurant and cafe "Verige 65".
