How to reach Belgrade’s Fortress or Kalemegdan Fortress
Belgrade’s Fortress is located in the center of the city. Most people first reach Trg Republike since this city square is very well connected to the rest of the city by bus lines, and then enjoy a very pleasant walk through Knez Mihajlova Street. This is exactly how most tourists find Belgrade’s Fortress as well, but in case you look to visit only the fortress, you should use the tram lines, such as 2 and 11.
