Greece is one of the most visited tourist destinations in the world, visited by around 30 million people each year. Greece is located in Southern Europe. It has one of the longest coastlines in the world (11th place) thanks to a plethora of islands and peninsulas. In the north, Greece borders with Albania, The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Bulgaria, whilst in the northeast it borders with Turkey. The numerous Greek islands are located in the Ionian Sea, Myrtoan Sea, Aegean Sea and the Sea of Crete.
