Tourist map of Viking Ship Museum

The ferry to the Bigdøi Peninsula runs between March and October. The ferry departs every 30 minutes from the port of the City Hall 3.

Bigdøines Station: Kon-Tiki, Fram and the Norwegian Maritime Museum

Visitors can buy tickets for the ferry at the ticket office at the City Hall at the port 3. A one-way ticket costs 5.00 euros, a return ticket 7.50 euros. If visitors buy a ticket on board they will pay 6.00 euros one way. Regular public transport tickets are not valid on ferries to Bygdøy.

Bus number 30 direction Bigdøi, to Vikingskipene, from the center to the peninsula takes about 25 minutes drive. At www.ruter.no visitors can see tickets and bus schedules.
If visitors use Uber, the ride takes 15 minutes and costs from 26.00 euros to 34.00 euros.

If visitors go by car, a ticket for parking behind the museum costs around 1.20 euros per hour, during the summer season. Parking is free during the winter season.
