Drvengrad is a unique ethno village, a project envisioned by the famous film director Emir Kusturica. Due to Emir’s efforts, an international film festival called Kustendorf is organized here in Drvengrad each year. Many visitors visit this place each year, probably due to the unique mixture of tradition, architecture, but also the defiance to the mainstream art and media of its sort, and in doing so offering an alternative view of the world.
