Las Arenas

Las Arenas

Las Arenas is a famous shopping mall in Barcelona. Its architecture separates it from other malls. At the first glance, it resembles a historical building, and it for a fact dates back to the 1900s. It was named after its historical purpose – it was a bulls’ arena. There were three at the time. Following some reconstruction work, the building got a brand new image in 2011, and since then has become one of the faovorite places for shopping and fun.

It was designed by a British architect. Besides amazing boutiques and shops, it also offers a gym, a cinema, numerous restaurants, but also the Rock Museum. With 5 floors, it is one of larger malls in Barcelona, and it also has a rotating lookout on the roof terrace.

In total, it has 115 shops – footwear, clothes, cosmetics, appliances and many other items. Time will pass quickly and you will have a great time, for sure. You may enjoy a meal in of the restaurants or relax in a bar after shopping.

  • The mall looks magnificently during the evening hours with amazing colour tones. There is a parking nearby, as well a metro station.
  • Working hours during summer: Monday – Saturday, 10.00h– 22.00h. Working hours during winter: Monday – Saturday, 09.00h – 21.00h
