The Freedom Tower design was inspired by the bell tower from the Giralda in Seville. With exciting architecture and abundantly decorated façade, it is one of the most famous historical sites in South Florida. It was designed by George A. Fuller and Schultz & Weaver. Evidence to its importance is the fact that the building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, and in October 2008 it was designated a U.S. National Historic Landmark.
