National Museum in Prague

Due to reconstruction work, the National museum has been moved to the building next to the original one. This temporary building will host all exhibitions until 2018. In this museum visitors will be able to enjoy the beauty and diversity of nature as well as the temporary exhibitions that are constantly organized.

National Museum is located in a beautiful building in the Václavské námĕstí 68 street. For the reconstruction purposes this building will be closed until 2018. Therefore, the National museum was moved to a new building that is located next to the old one. This new building was acquired from the Radio Free Europe. Even though this is a temporary solution and despite the fact that exhibition space is actually located in the offices of the new building, this museum must be complemented on how well they managed to organize it.
The last (4th) floor is dedicated to a permanent exhibition called Noah’s Ark. Here visitors will be able to see the animal world and all of its diversity: stuffed animals from all continents, to learn about Europe’s national parks and enjoy the interactive display methods.
The other floors (ground floor, second floor, H floor) are dedicated to temporary exhibitions.
