How to reach Cabo Girao, Madeira’s highest cliff
Cabo Girao cliff is located next to the town of Camara de Lobos. In order to get here, you need to take a well-known highway (the only one on the Island) on the southern shore of the island. From Funchal take the direction of Ribeira Brava and then look for the exit Cabo Girao. After you get to the town of Camara de Lobos follow the signs for the cliff. This road will take you uphill till the entrance to the viewpoint.
Important to mention is that next to the entrance to the viewpoint there is a large parking so you will not spend a lot of time looking for a parking spot.
