Saint Jakov Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches of Dubrovnik, is located in the city’s east side, in a small uvala which offers visitors a magnificent view of Lokrum and the historical district of the town. As it is about a kilometer away from the city center, it can be reached on foot, or by taking the 8 or 5 buses to the spot. The bus station where you should enter the bus is called Krešimir 1, which is located around 520m away from Stradun. You ride for three stops, exiting at the Zlatni Potok station, which is around 700m away from the beach itself. When you reach the Church of Saint Jakov, which is situated at the top of a cliff, take the steps behind the church which will take you straight to the beach.
