Tito’s Villa Beach – This beach is a sand-stone surface beach named after Josip Broz Tito. The beach is located just next to his villa, and was once off-limits to the public. Although the beach doesn’t offer much content, it is still popular among visitors, who visit it mostly because they want to swim where Tito had once swum. The best way to reach the beach is by taxi or by bus. If you opt for the bus, get on bus number 4 at the Pile station which is 320m away from the historical district (Stradun), take 12 stations and exit at the Masaryk 3 station. After this, walk the final 220m and you are at the beach.
