How to reach the Museum of glass on Murano Island
The Museum of glass is located on the Murano Island. Murano Island is one of the islands of the Venetian lagoon located just around two kilometers north from the historic center of Venice. It can be reached exclusively by vaporetto boats (Venetian bus boats). You can choose to visit Murano island from Piazzale Roma (vaporetto lines 3, 4.1, 4.2), Fondamente Nove stop (lines 3, 4.1, 4.2, 12) or S. Marco-S. Zaccaria stop (4.1, 4.2), depending on where you are at or which of these stops are closest to your accommodation.
Most probably you will get off the vaporeto boats on one of the two stops: Murano Colonna or Murano Faro, meaning that from here you will have to walk for a little while in order to reach the museum - please take a look at the map.
