How to reach Basilica Santa Maria della Salute
Basilica Santa Maria della Salute is located at the end of the Grand Canal. It can be seen from the St. Mark’s Square and represents one of the well-known tourist attractions. The basilica can be reached on foot from St. Mark’s Square by crossing the famous Academia Bridge (Ponte dell’ Accademia), or if you are up for a short adventure in one of the cheap gondolas (a 2 Euro ride) that cross the Gran Channel from Traghetto di Santa Maria del Giglio. However, most tourist choose the vaporetto lines, since the stop Salute is just in front of the basilica.
