Mori Art Museum

Mori Museum or Mori Art Museum is located in the beautiful Roppongi part of the city and forms the so-called art triangle. The museum is located on the 52nd and 53rd floors of Roppongi Tower. The impressive and modern building will surely delight you and arouse your interest to visit the museum. The museum also offers a spectacular view of the city of Tokyo. Since the museum is visited to a large extend, it would be best to come on weekdays or later in the afternoon, which leaves you plenty of time because the museum is open until 10 pm.

The museum’s collection consists of works of contemporary art, and here you will be introduced to the work of prestigious Japanese artists such as Ai Weiwei and Dinha Q. Lê. Here you will also have the opportunity to see avant-garde works by international artists as well as international multimedia installations.

The Mori Museum strives to be a place for enjoyment, stimulation and discussion - a place where what is important in our culture and society is openly discussed, not only through exhibitions but also through a wide range of learning programs. It engages audiences from young school children to students and senior citizens, from people living in the local community to the entire region.

The museum organizes numerous exhibitions of a temporary nature, which you can find out about on the museum's website or on the spot.
