The Queen’s Beach is located between Budva and Bar. A popular destination, this beach is 1.2 kilometers long, and the area is also known as Pearl Shore. The beach itself is divided into two sections by a stone cape. Behind the beach, there is a medicinal evergreen forest, which makes this location a true paradise. Čanj is isolated from the Adriatic Highway, which means there is no noise for the visitors of the Pearl Shore. Boarding spots in Čanj are diverse, ranging from hotels and villas to private accomodation. Near the beach, there is a post office, as well as food and drink stores. It is important to note that during the tourist season, the Čanj beach is completely full. There is another beach located in the Pearl Shore called The Queen’s Beach.
This spot was one of the favourite sites of Montenegrin Queen Milena Petrović. The beach is bordered with very high stones. It is an ideal spot for those who don’t like crowds. Access to the Queen’s Beach is only possibly by boat. There are boats carrying passengers to the beach that embark from Čanj, Bar and Budva every day. The water there is crystal clear, and the atmosphere is truly amazing. There are sunbeds, parasols, showers, restaurants, cafes, as well as a dock near the beach as well.
