Budva:

Jaz Beach

Jaz Beach

Jaz Beach is located only 2.5km away from Budva, spanning over 1200 meters, 300 of which is a nudist beach. The beach is a popular place for swimming, sunbathing, as well as camping just behind the beach. Interestingly, The Rolling Stones held a concert at the beach in 2007, followed by Madonna in 2008, whose concert attracted around 50 thousand people. Madonna’s concert was followed by performances by musicians such as Lenny Kravitz, Armand Van Helden, Dino Merlin and Goran Bregović, causing the beach’s popularity to grow fairly quickly. Along the beach there is a long walkway with many cafes and restaurants, restrooms, showers, as well as the Poseidon Hotel and a children’s water park, an attraction in its own respect. Behind the beach, there is an area known as “mrcevo polje”, where you can camp and park your car, with the cost for a parking spot being €3 for a full day.

Not far from the Jaz beach, the Malaya beach bar, a boho-style bar, can be reached by boat, but you can also reach this heavenly place by walking along the nudist portion of Jaz beach.
Just next to the Jaz beach, the Trsteno beach is located, characteristic for its shallow water even far from the coast, but also for its turquoise water. The last beach in the line is the Ploče beach. Translated as Slabs, this beach gets its name because of the fact that it is located on a rock with a paved portion as well, which contains pools excellent for parties.

During the holiday season, the Budva-Jaz-Trsteno-Ploče bus, whose journey starts in Mediteranska Street in Budva, drives passengers to the beaches every day between 8am and 8pm, and the bus takes off every hour. The bus fare for a one-way trim from Budva to Jaz costs €1, while the one-way bus fare between Budva and Ploče costs €2.
