How to arrive to Temple of Buddha’s Tooth
The temple is located on the following address: Sri Dalada Veediya, Kandy Central 20000 Sri Lanka.
The Temple is located in the center of Kandy. Kandy is one of the biggest centers in Sri Lanka. It is 140km away from the capital city, Colombo. Visitors may take a public bus from Colombo to Kandy. The ticket price is 180 LRK per person and the journey will last 4h-5h, depending on the traffic.
Visitors may also take the train, we believe that this is a better option. The ticket price is approx. 250 LRK and the journey lasts 3h. Please keep in mind that trains tend to be crowded and Colombo is not the starting station. It might happen that visitors will not have a seat during the voyage.
