What to wear in Egypt

Even though there is no dress code in Egypt for tourists, one should know Egyptian men and women, Muslims and Christians, dress rather conservatively. This applies to cigarettes as well. The normal cigarette price would be 50 EGP for a pack of Camel, Marlboro, etc. These are the prices you can find in the shops that are located outside of your hotels (usually found near them).

What to buy in Egypt

It is almost inconceivable that someone can return from their trip to Egypt with empty hands. But we are always in a dilemma, what should we buy? You will be surprised by the precision of the details. Here you will be able to choose statuettes and vases mostly made with alabaster, copper, brass and silver. There is a small factory near Luxor where visitors can find all sorts of souvenirs at truly affordable prices and amazing quality.
