The Madame Tussauds museum

The Madame Tussauds museum

The Madame Tussauds museums are famous museums with wax figures all around the world and there are 14 of them in total. The first one was established in London in 1835, whereas the Madame Tussauds museum was established in Vienna in 2011. A wax figure museum is a real place for anyone who wants to see what famous people looked or look like, many of which are singers, actors, great historical figures, presidents, kings and queens, almost the same as the real people, without a difference.

Although it is not a historical museum, Madame Tussauds is something a great amount of time, effort and money has been invested. Around 200,000 euros need to be allocated for the creation of one wax figure. It takes around 3 to 6 months for talented artists to make one figure, on which they spend 800 hours of active work. Apart from that, very precise measures are used during the production, as well as a huge number of photographs of a given person. Around 8 million euros were invested in this museum in Vienna.

You will surely have fun in the museum. In each part of it you will find an interesting thing. You will be able to stand shoulder to shoulder with Brad Pitt, to take a photo with Angela Merkel, compose with Mozart, take an IQ test with Einstein, meditate with Dalai Lama, and many other different activites are awaiting you. You can make phenomenal photos with different figures- there are Maria Theresa, Beethoven, Napoleon, Queen Elizabeth, Nicole Kidman, Will Smith, Lady Gaga and all other important people of the old and new age.
