The Komotin Fortress - Ten kilometers northeast of the once royal city there is an unusual historic building. They named it the fortress of Komotin. Separated from the rest of the kingdom, this specific fortress has no less historical value than the rest of the cultural wealth from the period of the Kingdom of Bosnia. On the contrary, it has a special, unique story. heavy material without today's aids and reliefs.
The name of its builder is not known even years later, but even if most of the merits from this period and the Komotin Fortress are attributed as a merit to the then founder of the city. This building had a special role, from many sources to suggest that it served as a outpost for the city of Jajce because it was through this place that once passed a trade route.
There is not much known information about Komotin, some historians will say that the way it was built suggests that Komotin was not a war fortress, but that with all its interior space as well as the way the outer walls were built, it has the characteristics of a manor house.
