Bačvice beach is the most popular and most famous beach in Split. This beach is specific in that bathers are present throughout the year. The Bene Beach is located in the middle part of the park (forest) Marijan on the north side of the peninsula, which is also called the "lungs of the city of Split". Trstenik beach is perhaps one of the best maintained beaches in Split. The beach is pebbly and is great for families with small children. Also, the beach is great for those who do not like big crowds.The beach is not completely natural because it is filled with pebbles, but it is well equipped with beach furniture. It is very clean, there are cafes in the area, the sea is very clear due to the openness to the open sea. There is also a VIP section on the beach run by a nearby hotel, but the rest is quite open to visitors and there are no restrictions
The Kaštelet beach is located in the southern part of the Marijan peninsula. The beach is visually divided into two parts. The beach is covered with small pebbles. The Kasjuni Beach is a pebble beach located west of the city. This beach is great for young people because the beach hosts after beach parties. If you want to completely relax during your vacation on the beach, you can also find massage tents. Joe’s Beach Lounge & Bar, which occupies the entire central part of the beach, is nearby. After the renovation in 2016, this beach has become extremely popular, so it is quite crowded during the season. The sea on Kašjuni is always quiet and crystal clear, emerald in color.
