Bačvice beach is the most popular and most famous beach in Split. This beach is specific in that bathers are present throughout the year. This beach is always full of people and you can’t have your privacy. Very shallow at a distance of 100 m and is suitable for various activities. The most popular game on this sandy beach is "Picigin". Picigin is a traditional, old game with a small ball that you have to hit with your hand all the time, but the ball must not fall into the sea and the game must not stop. It is assumed that Bačvica beach is the only beach where 'Picigin' is played and is protected as a cultural heritage. Bačvice is located in the nightlife area, where there are many beach bars, including the famous Split Beach Festival. The water on this beach is very clean.
