Stamford Bridge Stadium

Stamford Bridge Stadium

Stamford Bridge is one of the most famous stadiums in the world, as well as the stadium with the longest tradition in Britain. It is the home of Chelsea footbal club.
The stadium was actually supposed to be the home of Fulham, but this plan never came true. Many matches of the national team of England took place gere, and Stamford bridhe was the host of the European Cup Finals.

This stadion has a capacity of 40 thousand spectators, making it the largest stadium in the Premiere League, with the average English stadium having the capacity of around 30 thousand. In the 1930s the stadium was the setting of the match between Chelsea and Arsenal which was attended by over 80 thousand spectators, most of whom had to stand during the match. The tour of the stadium is one of the most popular in England, and one of the best in Europe.

During the tour, you will be able to visit some of the most important sections, including the press room, the tunnel and the changing rooms. Entry to the pitch is prohibited.
The FC Chelsea Museum is decorated with various archive pictures and videos of some of the club’s legends, all completed with the jerseys which some of the club’s legends used to wear. Chelsea is one of the most awarded clubs in England, so a visit to the stadium will definitely be interesting to fans of the sport
