It used to be known for the numerous small shops where you could find traditional Milanese products. However, these have been replacing by modern fashion stores that offer common commercial brands and ready to wear collections at favorable prices. Taking into consideration that Corso Buenos Aires has the highest concentration of clothing stores in Europe, where the total number of fashion shops and outlets is over 350, then this might be the reason why this street is considered to be one of the most important shopping streets in the city.
