Zmajevic Palace is located just above the coast and it can be reached by climbing steep stairs from the coast to the top of the highway above Perast.
Another noble family gave to the city of Perast a magnificent palace, with the family church of Our Lady of Rosary and a bell tower. The Zmajevic family was buried in the family church next to the palace. The most significant representative of this family was Admiral Matija Zmajevic. It is not possible to visit the palace from the inside, but you can enter the church and the courtyard.
