Alamillo Park

Alamillo Park

Alamillo Park in Seville is a place of relaxation and recreation. It was opened to the public in 2009, between Isla de la Catuja and Seville. La Isla Cartuja experienced special development after the second cultural city exhibition in 1992, and thus the park began to develop. It occupies an area of 120 hectares, where there are over 100 species of plants and birds. Allamilo Park stands out for the lakes around which it was created, Lake Maggiore and Small Lake, but also by the Guadalquivir River that you have to cross over the Alamillo Bridge to get to the park.

The place was created for socializing with sports activities, so you will be able to drive in the park by bike, walk on well-maintained paths, swing, and choose numerous other outdoor sports activities. The park is a small escape from the city lifestyle, crowds and noise. If you visit Seville on October 12th, you will attend the park's birthday celebration when juices, cakes are served and a train tour is organized. The Miniature Railroad and Train, designed by Friends of the Railroad is a special attraction in Alamillo.

It is considered one of the most beautiful parks. If you are looking for peace, fresh air and a long walk, please select this.

Recommendation: Botanical route.
