Manarat Al Saadiyat was renovated recently so it would include new art and photography studios in order to provide a hub for the public where they could work on their projects together with teams of artists and photographers. Specialized workshops, plays, movie screenings and music are a part of their program. New Drop-In Studio is a space for people of all ages to come and experiment with art.
Manarat Al Saadiyat is the first art and culture center in the cultural district Saadiyat. Manarat Al Saadiyat, meaning “the place of enlightenment”, offers a wide specter of exhibitions, performances, productions, conferences, discussions, and workshops throughout the whole year. On Manarat Al Saadiyat Square visitors may admire the UAE pavilion designed by Norman Foster, the Abu Dhabi House of Arts (Expo 2020), that is held each November. In Manarat Al Saadiyat, visitors may also visit the FANR gift shop and restaurant.
