Dar Si Said Museum is the oldest museum in the city with the largest collection of works of art. The museum is officially called the Museum of Moroccan Art. The Dar Si Said Museum is actually a magnificent palace with stunning Hispanic-Moorish ceilings, plaster works and carved cedar wooden elements. The architecture and interior decors themselves are worth your visit. The museum collection consists of exhibits of Moroccan culture, including weapons, antiques, clothing, jewelry, etc. Carpets coming from all over Morocco are also on display here.
The Dar Si Said Museum is located north of the Bahia Palace. If you are in the main square, head south on Riad Zitoun el Jdid, which can be reached via Rue de Banques.
