By climbing from the sea to the mountain you will see the city and large areas of the Trondheim fjord. The Via Ferrata is located on Route 755, between Vanvikan and Leksvik. It is a 1-hour drive from Trondheim and you need to take a ferry from Flakk to Rørvik. No previous experience is required for this mountain climbing. Munkstigen Via Ferrata is 950 meters long. The whole climb takes about 3-5 hours, and it's up to you whether you want to take the time and have a new experience.
