The Hevd Håndverksbakeri bakery, run by former Norwegian baking champion Emanuele Spreafico, is located in the city center, on the main square of Torvet. In a pleasant atmosphere, with lots of tables, the bakery is an ideal place for breakfast, lunch and coffee, drinks with your loved ones or even yourself. Why not? You can also take the products from the bakery with you - to go. The bakery also serves benedict eggs, lobster chili rolls and fish soup, and it is recommended to try croissants stuffed with vanilla cream. After 16:00h, this beautiful bakery is replaced by the pizzeria UNA, which lights its stone oven and serves delicious Italian pasta.
Restaurant Kalas & Canasta Bistro belongs to the ninth place on TripAdvisor out of a total of 213 restaurants located on the site. We recommend the restaurant because of the service and its charm and location. Located in the district of Bakklandet, on the place where in the sixties the Municipality wanted to demolish everything and build a highway. Fortunately, that did not happen, the most beautiful corner of Trondheim remained here, with cobblestones, wooden houses from the 19th century, romantic and lively streets, and Kalas and Canasta adorn this place.
The hotel restaurant Speilsalen or Hall with Mirrors, very luxurious looking with lavish furniture, beautiful chandeliers and walls adorned with large mirrors years ago was used for countless conversations with good meals. However, today this restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Trondheim and beyond, with the highest quality cuisine. This is the first restaurant signed by Christopher Davidsen, at the Britannia Hotel, winner of the 2017 Bocuse d'Or silver medal and world champion among chefs.
Kraft Bodega - "We do not want to be confined to a particular concept, but allow ourselves to be inspired by the seasons, travels, nostalgia, memories and experiences we have had" - Thomas Borgan, head chef at Kraft Bodega. Karft Bodega is a modern restaurant overlooking the fjord. Its interior consists of wooden tables, wooden chairs, blue chairs with gold decor, a ceiling with greenery where chandeliers are hung - small light bulbs and large glass surfaces, which makes it very bright and airy. The goal is for people to eat whatever they like, so this restaurant doesn’t have a strict a la carte menu but there are a few dishes from around the world, so you can stop by for a snack, devise your own menu or let the chefs surprise you.
Bula Neobistro restaurant owner grew up on a farm and as a child dreamed of food she could not have in the Trøndelag region. By opening her restaurant Bula Neobistro, she turned her dreams into reality. She made fast food a restaurant type. The dishes served in the restaurant are tempting, well combined and nicely served, so here you can eat home-made sausage with bread and toppings, melted cheese in a cup with croutons for dipping, etc. The dishes are full of flavor, we can say that they violate all the rules of the diet, they are often salty and fatty, but as such they are excellent and always interesting. If you book a table, you have from 5 to 10 dishes from the menu, but if you stop by the bar you will get smaller dishes and snacks.
