Restaurant Kalas & Canasta Bistro belongs to the ninth place on TripAdvisor out of a total of 213 restaurants located on the site. We recommend the restaurant because of the service and its charm and location. Located in the district of Bakklandet, on the place where in the sixties the Municipality wanted to demolish everything and build a highway. Fortunately, that did not happen, the most beautiful corner of Trondheim remained here, with cobblestones, wooden houses from the 19th century, romantic and lively streets, and Kalas and Canasta adorn this place.
The restaurant with very nice decoration, staircase, rooms, bar, greenhouse and a separate small house is a real attraction for lunch or dinner. The warmth of home is felt here in a unique ambience, and the focus is on the quality of seasonal food. There is a small menu for lunch and dinner and a weekend brunch.
