Munkstigen Klatresti

Munkstigen Via Ferrata Mountain Climbing - If you want to experience a fascinating panoramic view of Trondheim, we recommend Via Ferrata. By climbing from the sea to the mountain you will see the city and large areas of the Trondheim fjord. The Via Ferrata is located on Route 755, between Vanvikan and Leksvik. It is a 1-hour drive from Trondheim and you need to take a ferry from Flakk to Rørvik. No previous experience is required for this mountain climbing. Munkstigen Via Ferrata is 950 meters long. The whole climb takes about 3-5 hours, and it's up to you whether you want to take the time and have a new experience.

You can book a guide at least two days before the adventure. You don't need a guide, but if you're unsure it wouldn't hurt to meet someone while climbing to help you learn the trails.

The top of Munken got its name because it is located on a direct line that starts from Nidaros Cathedral, down Munkegata Street, across Munkholmen Island and to the top of Munken.

You can book your tour at this linku.
