Lazaro Galdiano Museum - Lazaro Galdiano was a Spanish artist, collector of antiquities and patriot who in 1903, on the site of today's museum, built a three-story palace for living with his wife. The palace is surrounded by small ramparts behind which is a small courtyard. In the whole complex there is a private, very rich collection of works of art, which belonged to Jose Lazaro Galdiano. In the palace (museum), the interior has remained original and very well preserved, with beautiful antique furniture of this family and ceilings painted in the style of beautiful baroque and walls of royal blue color.
In 1962, this museum was declared a cultural asset due to its interior and rich exterior as well as its great historical significance. The collections that Lazaro Galdiano collected and left to the city of Madrid date from prehistory to the 19th century. There is jewelry here, church silver - highly valued, ceramics, ivory art, money. The exhibits mainly come from Iberia and Egypt. The most common period in the palace is the Renaissance period.
