The Amusement Park

The Amusement Park

The attraction park is great fun for all ages, for adults and for toddlers. It is just a short drive from the center, set in the large green area of Casa del Campo of 20 hectares. In addition to entertainment attractions, there is also a zoo in this part. There are a total of 48 attractions, suitable for all ages. The amusement park was opened in 1969 by Carlos Arias Navarro. It is one of the three oldest amusement parks in Spain. Some of the first attractions were El Tobogan, Los Coches de Choqe, El Laberinto de Espejos, Jest Star. The park as it is today has undergone various changes in upgrading, renovation, replacement of old attractions with new ones and the like. The popular slide Catapult was opened in the park in 1990.

The largest renovation of the park took place in 1998, when 48 million euros were invested in its renovation. This renovation referred to the distribution of the park's zones and each zone was adjusted in detail to the attractions. The souvenir shop opened then, and some new theaters were added. The park had its own mascot until 2007, at the very beginning of the park's work, a bear in a white jacket with a beret and a white handkerchief around its neck called Napi could be seen in the places where tickets were sold. When a major renovation of the park was done, in 1998, the bear was replaced with a new mascot called Trasto. Trasto appeared on small screens, like CyberClub, looked like an orange alien and was used for promotional purposes in the park. However, the Trasto was also abolished in 2007, and the park did not introduce any new mascots after it.

There are five zones in the park, and one was opened in 2012 under the name Gran Avenida and belongs to the Tranquilid Zone. It has simpler attractions, La Jungla, Zeppelin, Simulador Virtual and Star Flier. There are restaurants, trampolines, cinema, shops in this zone, and it is convenient for performances and concerts. This part is dedicated to the youngest, where they can meet and take photos with their favorite cartoon characters, characters from the series and movies.

If you are addicted to adrenaline, we recommend attractions such as Abismo, Vertigo, Typhon, Lal lanzadera, and if you are one of those who love adrenaline but also water, there are attractions Los Rapidos, Los Fiordos, and there are various attractions in the park tailored to families and for the youngest ages. Certainly this park provides great fun and fills the time in an unforgettable way.
