Boka’s Night is a manifestation that takes place in the last week of August. Even though the season is still not over, locals from Kotor and entire Boka Kotorska Bay are saying farewell to the summer with this event. Boka’s Night is a manifestation held on the water, a masquerade on water boats. Decorated boats sail as many as three laps, after which an expert neighbor awards them with a monetary prize - first, second and third place. In the old town of Kotor, there is a party going on from 10:00pm with various bands playing on every town square. After announcing the winning boat, visitors enjoy a fifteen-minute firework. Every visitor can participate in this event and it is free of charge.
