The Public Transport

Public transport in Trondheim is marked with three letters A, T and B, includes bus, tram, train and ferry. AtB was founded in 2009, which literally means "A to B", and the goal is to make it easier for passengers to leave point A to point B without using your own car. You can buy tickets via the AtB mobile application, via SMS, on ticket machines. There used to be an extensive tram system in Trondheim, but today only one line is operational. It goes from the city center to Liana, across Bisen, along the west side of the river.

All bus tickets are also valid for the tram.

The price for adults for one zone is 4.00 euros, for two zones 8.00 euros, for three zones 12.00 euros, for four zones 16.00 euros, for more zones is 20.00 euros. An individual ticket refers to one trip in the zone or zones in which you purchased the ticket.
