If there is heaven on Earth, then that is definitely the city of Key West. Key West is a city on an island located south of Florida. It has the population of about 30 thousand people, and many tourists visit it on daily basis. Key West is a part of the Florida Keys archipelago and is the USA’s southernmost point. The island is connected with the land via bridge by the name of 7-mile Bridge, at it is 90 miles away from Cuba. Key West is more like Cuba than the US – chickens that roam freely, coconuts everywhere, unordinary cafés, restaurants, the Ernest Hemingway Museum with cats, colorful houses, the USA’s southernmost point landmark, famous and crowed Duval Street, palm trees, the sea, beaches and pelicans. It is beautiful and uncommon. Key West is supervised by the army.
Interesting fact: If you rent a jet-ski, you will get very little fuel, in case you want to go to Cuba, which is not allowed. You should not miss Key West – it is a little piece of heaven.
