Surfside is a small Miami city. It has only 6 thousand citizens, and it is a small community with many interesting differences. The city was established in 1935 with only 35 citizens. It was and it has remained as small community on the Atlantic shore where the citizens established small enterprises to develop local tourism.
The intimacy of this place is what attracts visitors along with pleasant locals and tranquil atmosphere. The beaches are fantastic for surfing, and they are not as crowded as those in Miami Beach. Social life is centered downtown, and it offers fun for both the young and families. Surfside offers everything a city does, but on smaller scale. Surfside is, actually, a small Miami.
