New York City:

The Frick Collection

The Frick Collection

The Frick Collection is an art museum located in the Henry Clay Frick House, the American art collector. This is one of the most prominent art museums in New York. The art collection is located in Frick’s summer house on Fifth Avenue. The mansion has 16 beautifully decorated rooms where the collection is exhibited. The construction works lasted from 1913 to 1914. The collection was significantly expanded upon Frick’s death. In the magnificent rooms of the villa you will be able to get familiar with the rich collection, and we do not know what will delight you first, the rooms and the décor themselves or the art. The lobby, the stairway, the library, the living room and the inner garden are some of the most magnificent parts of the mansion. There are paintings and sculptures by artists such as Rembrandt, Goya, El Greco and many others. The collection consists of more than 1.500 pieces of art from the 19th and 20th century.

The museum is a pure delight and you should not miss it.

!NOTE! The Frick Collection will be reopened for the public in early 2021 at the former home of the Whitney Museum of American Art at 945 Madison Avenue. Frick Madison, the temporary exhibition, will display the Frick Collection. The temporary location will be home to the museum until the original museum building is renovated. All information about the renovation of the museum can be found on the official website of the museum.
