How to reach the Newark airport

Newark Airport is the second largest airport in New York after JFK. It has 3 terminals that are interconnected by a train line that goes on every 3 minutes during the day, and on every 15 minutes after midnight. There are many different options for getting to the airport or getting to the city from the airport.

If you opt for a taxi, the price will amount to $80. Toll is included in the price. Take into account that the airport is far from the city. During the rush hour and over the weekend, they charge additional $5.
Minibus lines are also one of your options. You can get more information regarding minibus timetable at the airport – it will take you to the center of New York for $15. A round-trip ticket costs $20.
The cheapest means of transportation is the train that will get you to the Newark Airport train station. There you can take public transportation that will get you to Penn station on Manhattan, and from there you can take the subway to get to wherever you want in the city. You will pay $15 to get to Penn station. A single-ride ticket for the subway costs $2.75.
