The Proa Foundation

The PROA Foundation is a private museum famous for its revolutionary exhibits of world-renowned avant-garde artwork. The museum is the capital of contemporary art where visitors will be able to see installations that employ innovative technology, as well as performances of local artists. The museum is separated into four sections dedicated to photography, design, experimental art and performances and audio-visual art. The museum housed exhibitions of famous 20th century artists, such as the Russian artist Kazimir Malevich.

Fans of modern, as well as contemporary art, all flock to this museum. The PROA Foundation also does movie projections. Keep in mind that the museum is small in size and that it can be fully seen in a short time period.

The building itself, or at least its front, is covered in glass, and there is a big plateau in front of the entrance. The top floor contains a cafe that offers a spectacular view.
The book store is open Thursday thru Sunday between 12am and 6pm. Specializing in contemporary art, the book store offers more than 9 thousand titles, including books, magazines and catalogues.

The station that you need to arrive at is in the Pedro de Mendoza Avenue 2031.
