The airport in Ljubljana is named after Jože Plečnik and is 26 km away from the center. This airport is often called Brnik. To get from the airport to the city center you can use the city bus that runs every hour, a mini bus or take a taxi. Public transport is available from 05:00h to 20:00h.
The price by public transport, from the airport to the city center costs approx. 4 €. If you want to take the mini bus, which is a bit faster and more comfortable, the ticket costs around 9 €. And if you decide to take a taxi, it will cost approx. € 35.
