How to arrive to Udawalawe National Park

Udawalawe National Park is located 170km from Colombo. The best way would be to arrive by train or by bus to Matara (city on the south of Sri Lanka). From Colombo it will take approx. 4h. The bus number 32 drives from Colombo to Matara. From Matara visitors may take the bus to Embilipitiya. From Embilipitiya to the entrance to Udawalawe National Park there is 17km and visitors can easily take the tuk tuk.
