The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree in New York has been widely popular for a long time. This Christmas tree enchants tens of thousands of people who gather in front of the Rockefeller Center every year to admire its lighting on Christmas Eve. Not only New Yorkers, tourists as well have established the tradition of visiting the Christmas Tree every year.

About 50.000 LED lights that are 8km long decorate the tree, and you can follow the lighting ceremony on the Internet or on live TV – millions of people tune up to the ceremony. The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree has been a yearly tradition for the past 91 years. There is a Swarovski crystal star at the top of the tree. Many music stars perform during the lightning ceremony. The tree is about 23m high and it weighs up to 12 tons. After the Christmas tree finishes its "performance", it is turned into wood for various needs.

On the plateau in front of the Christmas tree, there is a large skating rink, visited by a large number of people who love skating. The Radio City Rockettes have a marvelous performance during Christmas holidays.
