The Split Festival is one of the most famous festivals, which has been held every summer in the city under Marijan for 59 years. The first Split Festival was held in 1960 as a music-fashion show "More-Revija-Split", and since then over 800 compositions by the most important domestic authors have been performed there. On the Split festival stage, the most prominent names of the Croatian music scene experienced their star moments, namely: Oliver Dragojević, Tereza Kesovija, Radojka Šverko, Ibrica Jusić and many others. With its tradition and reputation, this festival has become one of the symbols of the city and the musical culture of Croatia.
The ticket price for the evening of the Split Festival ranges between 50 and 100 kuna.
