Trondheim:

The Tyholttårnet Tower

The Tyholttårnet Tower

The tourist attraction that is in the top 5 for Trondheim is the Tyholttårnet, the telecommunications and radio tower in Tyholt in Trondheim! It was built on May 22, 1985, from concrete, it has 7.2 m in diameter, with two elevators and two stairs. Seeing the city from a bird's eye view is always fun and great for taking unusual photos. The Tyholttårnet tower is 120 meters high and is the tallest building in Norway.

The rotating Egon restaurant is located at 74th meter of the tower. It is all made of glass, with 12 edges and its interior is mostly made of wood. To get a complete 360-degree rotation and see the amazing panorama of Trondheim, you need to spend an hour in the restaurant. If you do not want to sit in the restaurant, the floor below it is a lookout that will allow you the same view of the city.

And if you are one of those who were born under a lucky star, to be in the right place at the right time, from this place you will enjoy the magical aurora borealis.
The working hours of the restaurant are every day: Monday - Thursday: 10:00 - 23:00h, Friday - Saturday: 10:00 - 00:00, Sunday: 11:00 - 22:00

Tyholttårnet is the second most visited place in Trondheim.
