The Metro is known as the Subte and is the oldest underground transportation system in South America. The metro boasts around 60km of railways, all separated into 6 lines and 85 stations.
Metro ticket prices in Buenos Aires
Between 1 and 20 rides per month – 21 ARS
Between 21 and 30 rides per month – 16.8 ARS
Between 31 and 40 rides per month – 14.7 ARS
More than 40 rides per month – 12.6 ARS.
The prices are for a single ride. When you purchase a ticket, you can decide how many rides you need. Taking into account that 20 ARS is equivalent to 0.2 euros, we recommend that you take as few rides as you can in order to see as much of Buenos Aires as you can.
