It is also famous as “Sunday lunch“, and consists of roasted meat (usually beef, chicken or veil) with roasted potatoes and vegetables, primarily carrots. It is often eaten by families on Sundays.
- Prime ribs (around 4kg)
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Freshly ground pepper
Preheat oven to 250ᴼC. Cover the ribs with olive oil, salt and pepper. Preheat the baking tray and add onto it the beef. Quickly turn the beef until it gets a little color on all sides, and finally place it into the oven on high heat for 20 minutes.
Lower the oven temperature and bake for 2h. Take the beef out of the oven, move onto a cutting board and cover in tin foil. Leave the meat to rest in a warm place for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes cut the beef and serve with Yorkshire pudding.
