The Sorbara Steak House restaurant first of all boasts a location where it is located, along the river Ljubljanica, where the city noise is not heard, only the sound of the river. The restaurant has a large garden, which is perfect for dinners of any type by the river. Reservations are not required here, just that there is enough space. It’s hard to find a place during the summer season, but you might be lucky. It really is a real pleasure to have a meal in this place or have a drink with dear people, and sometimes alone, why not? It is not only the location that attracts many guests, but also the great food that has a very good reputation. At first, this restaurant was based on serving burgers and burgers, to be celebrated with phenomenal steaks.
The chef, the famous Ivo Tomšić, says that here the hamburger is an appetizer, main course, but also a dessert. Beefsteak in a million ways is what gourmets visit "Sorbara". Serving burgers with steak is the American principle of work. It is unusual that burgers are eaten here with a knife and fork.
The interior of the restaurant is modern, pleasant, you could say American, where white walls predominate, red brick as a detail, and what is distracting are the high shelves full of Slovenian and world wines. Outside, the restaurant has a beautiful garden whose tables are located on the old cobblestones, which gives even more charm to the restaurant.
Prices are a little higher here, but with good reason. For example, two steaks cost € 56.
