Rijeka Crnojevića or The river Crnojevića is located on the road between Cetinje and Podgorica - the old narrow road leads to this small green paradise on the river and lake. The river Crnojevića is the former capital of Montenegro, and it is also called the Montenegrin Venice, but also the ancient metropolis. Very important for Montenegrin history, the river Crnojevića is today a town with 200 inhabitants. Remains of historic buildings from the time when they are preserved in the place itself. Ivan Crnojević was the ruler of the then Montenegro, which was then called Zeta.

The first pharmacy in Montenegro was opened in the river Crnojevica, as well as the first weapons workshop. During the XIX.  and at the beginning of the 20th century, the river Crnojevića was the main Montenegrin port and trade center. Fish has always been traded in this place, and the most famous is dry bleak, which is the most sought after of all fish in Italian cuisine. There is one of the most famous bridges in Montenegro, Danilov most, which was built by Prince Danilo in memory of his father Stanko Petrovic. He also built a house next to the bridge, which has been preserved to this day. On the river Crnojevića it is possible to rent a kayak or ride authentic boats and boats.
